2020 Acura RDX – $38,595
Acura is working to beef up its performance cred, and the RDX is a successful product of this effort. Along with sharp steering, the RDX boasts immediate acceleration with the help of its sprightly 2.0-liter turbo-four with 272 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. With lots of standard features and a huge cargo bay, the RDX is one of the best small luxury SUVs for the price.
2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio – $41,840

With the arrival of the mid-engine C8 Corvette, and freshly unveiled 2020 Corvette convertible, the sports car nameplate enters a new era. With that said, this mint C7 ZR1 convertible for sale at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction represents the last of an outmoded breed. It is one of the last front-engine Corvettes to ever roll off the production line in Bowling Green. But even though the C7 has been superseded by the C8, the ZR1 is still a special car. The C7 ZR1 is the fastest Corvette ever made. The coupe is good for a top speed over 212 mph, and while no top speed for the convertible was quoted, Chevy’s engineers are certain it’s more than 200 mph.
The C7 ZR1 comes standard with a supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 V-8 good for 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque, which makes it General Motors’ most powerful production car ever. The ZR1 convertible going up for [...]
We’ve had plenty of time to digest the mid-engine C8 Corvette’s new shape since its reveal this past summer, and plenty of time to form opinions about the way it looks. But we’re still taking in and contemplating the convertible, which was just announced on Wednesday. That variant brings with it perhaps even bigger changes than the C8 coupe did when it made its debut. Namely, the soft top is gone, in favor of a retractable hard top unit that goes up or down in 16 seconds. How does the new look stack up to the previous generation? We’re taking an in-depth look at the new sheetmetal to see if Chevy’s nailed the most recent iteration of its iconic sports car.
C8 vs. C7 Convertible Front View
Everything from the A-pillar forward has remained unchanged in the transition from coupe to convertible, but the C8 is still radically [...]
Now that Chevrolet has dropped details on the 2020 Corvette coupe and convertible, all we can do is wait for the C8 to hit dealerships. But one lucky customer will walk away with the very first production 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction in January. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Detroit Children’s Fund, which benefits public schools in the Detroit area.
The VIN 001 Corvette Stingray will come equipped with the Z51 Performance Package. That means its V-8 delivers an upgraded 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, ahead of the standard 490 hp and 465 lb-ft. All Stingrays are paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
We can be sure the first C8 will fetch a crazy amount of money at auction. Bear in mind the final C7 Chevrolet Corvette sold for a whopping $2.7 million at the Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction earlier this year. Here, it set a Barrett-Jackson [...]
How to Price a 2020 Lincoln Corsair Luxury SUV Beyond $60,000 (and a Similar Audi, BMW, or Mercedes)
Lincoln is currently riding high off a strong one-two SUV punch, having successfully launched the redesigned full-size Navigator last year and seeing critical approval of the resurrected mid-size Aviator model. Now the American luxury brand has turned its attention to the compact SUV formerly known as the MKC. All-new for 2020, that crossover now goes by the cool-sounding “Corsair” name and, based on our first impressions, is an altogether more competitive product than the MKC it replaces. It’s also a hell of a lot more expensive when fully loaded—like, more-than-its-competitors expensive.
To see show you how much more money it’ll take to buy a top-end 2020 Corsair versus an equivalent 2019 MKC, we hit Lincoln’s online Corsair configurator and threw every available option at it. It’s worth noting that the Corsair is currently offered in only Standard and Reserve trim levels, while the old MKC could be had in Standard, Select, Reserve, and bougie Black [...]
